It used when we want to combine to different kinds of words in order to make a new term of words.

Example:

1.      Binary + Digit                               = Bit

2.      Breakfast + Lunch                        = Brunch

3.      Information + Entertainment          = Infotainment

4.      Teleprinter + Exchange                 = Telex

5.      Television + Broadcast                 = Telecast

            The code mixing

Code mixing is term in english that used for combining the context of the meaning with the mother tongue/ local languages to make it practical in use.

Example :

1.      Kemarin saya on the phone dengan ibu yang sedang berada di luar kota. 
2.      Sekarang telah banyak yang mempunyai smartphone dikalangan masyarakat. 
3.      Tunggu iya, saya on the way ke kampus. 
4.      Saya ke car wash dulu, soalnya kotor banget nih mobil. 
5.      Oh my god ternyata dia pelakunya. 
6.      Dina lunch bareng teman-temannya di margo city. 
7.      Susan dinner bersama pasangannya dengan suasana yang romantis. 
8.      Mahasiswa menghabiskan waktu break dengan mengerjakan tugas. 
9.      By the way jam berapa nih jadinya kita ke detos ?
